Run, Jump & Throw (Hudayriyat Island)

Got a kid who can’t stop running, jumping, and throwing things? Perfect. Run, Jump & Throw is Athletics Academy’s squad for Mini A’s aged 3-5. Your child discovers the fundamentals of track and field — and has an absolute blast doing it.

Sessions run on Hudayriyat Island on Sunday mornings, 9:00–10:00 AM. A single weekly session in a brilliant outdoor setting — perfect for weekend training without the weekday rush.

Your child works on the three pillars of athletics: running with good form, jumping with confidence, and throwing with control. It’s not drills for drills’ sake. It’s movement-based fun that builds real athletic foundations. Coaches keep sessions dynamic, energetic, and age-appropriate for the youngest A’s.

Athletics Academy was founded in 2015 by Samir Yousuf, a former sprinter who represented New Zealand at the Oceania Masters Games. The coaching team are all qualified PE and Primary teachers from the UK and Ireland — not just coaches, but educators who understand how young kids learn and move. Almost 400 athletes train across four Abu Dhabi locations. This is a genuinely serious academy that takes your youngest athlete seriously too.
