Tap dance is one of those things that looks effortless and takes real work to master. Fusion Arts Tap classes are accredited by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and cover the full scope of this unique art form. Students learn tap steps, rhythms, and complete routines — building technical skill from the ground up. But what sets these classes apart is the emphasis on musicality, expression, and improvisation. Your child doesn’t just learn the steps — they learn to feel the music and make it their own. That creative dimension is what makes tap dancing so distinct — and so addictive. Alise Hunter specialises in ISTD disciplines including Tap and brings over a decade of professional teaching experience and a 100% exam pass rate to every class. Fusion Arts was founded in 2011 by Suzanne McMillan, a professional dancer with credits spanning theatre, television, and international tours. Her ethos — that dance is about expression, confidence, and joy — runs through every Tap session. It’s technical. It’s musical. It’s a whole lot of fun.
Words from the Provider:
“It was important for me to create an environment where our dance studios became a second home for our students. Our students are not just a number — we feel part of their lives and are able to mentor them individually. We see our dance classes as more than just nurturing and progressing talent but also development in ways of expression, creativity, increasing confidence and relationship building, all whilst having a great time doing so.” — Suzanne McMillan, Founder
