Ice Skating Programme (Zayed Sports City)

Ice skating in Abu Dhabi? ZSC makes it happen year-round. The Zayed Sports City Ice Rink is Abu Dhabi’s premier skating facility — and the coaching programme here is genuinely world-class. your child doesn’t need any experience to start. Fundamental Starter sessions run 30 minutes. That’s plenty of time to find your feet on the ice without overwhelm. Fundamental Starter (30 min) costs AED 340 for one session per week, AED 550 for two, or AED 750 for three. Fundamental Skater moves up to 45-minute sessions — AED 360, AED 590, or AED 790 per week depending on frequency. These groups build the core skills: balance, edges, basic footwork, and growing confidence on the ice. Power Skating takes it to 60-minute sessions at AED 110 per session. For advanced skaters, half and full-season packages give serious progression pathways — AED 3,150 for a half-season two-sessions-per-week package, up to AED 5,500 for four sessions per week. This is where dedicated skaters train hard. A dynamic choreographer joins the coaching team for performance development. Zayed Sports City has been the home of Abu Dhabi sport for decades. The ice rink facility continues to be enhanced each season. The coaching team spans beginner instruction through high-performance training. your child skates in the same facility that hosts international competitions. Term 1 of the 2025/26 season runs 1 September through 14 December. Sessions can run up to four times per week — flexible enough to fit any schedule.
